Our Guest Bartenders are officially ready to begin their race for the #1 spot, and we need our Lancer Family to help them get there!
First up, we’re excited to introduce Mrs. Consorti, our amazing Kindergarten teacher and SEA parent, and Mrs. Ham, a Kindergarten and Second Grade parent!
Mrs. Consorti shared:
“Saint Edmond’s Academy is more than a place where my son goes to school, where I go to work, and where my husband coaches. It is a community where our family feels connected, supported, and encouraged in our faith.”

Mrs. Ham said:
“We chose Saint Edmond’s because it felt like family from the very beginning. The strong sense of brotherhood, dedicated teachers, and faith-filled community have made it an incredible experience for our boys. We’re grateful to be part of such a welcoming school family and look forward to watching our little boys grow into confident young men.”

Celebrating National Principals Month

This month, we are proud to recognize and thank two leaders whose dedication, hard work, and commitment help guide Saint Edmond’s Academy each and every day, Mr. Domenic Maiorano `97, Head of School, and Dr. Michael Reichert ’98, Principal.

Their leadership extends far beyond the day-to-day work of running a school. They support our faculty and staff, encourage our Lancers, partner with our families, and work tirelessly to ensure that Saint Edmond’s remains a place where boys can learn, grow, and become young men of character and faith.
We are grateful for the many ways they lead by example and for the heart they bring to our Lancer community.

Small Acts. Big Impact.
Our Lancer Leaders series is back for the 2026–27 school year!

Each month, our K–8 Lancer Leaders initiative recognizes students who demonstrate empathy, compassion, leadership, and initiative within our community. Because at Saint Edmond’s, leadership isn’t always about the biggest gesture, sometimes, it’s the small choices we make every day that have the greatest impact.

This September, we celebrated seven Lancers who were nominated for outstanding acts of leadership!

“There’s a reason behind everything we do.”

Before Mr. Durant’s students ever enter the gym, they stop at the whiteboard.
First comes a Health & Wellness lesson. Maybe it’s nutrition. Maybe mindfulness, hygiene, fitness, social skills, or taking care of your body.

Then comes Faith & Goodness.
“We talk about the qualities we want our Lancers to embrace, the virtues and ‘knightly’ behaviors. We might use a Bible verse, a quote, or a story that I hope leaves an impression on them.”

And before anyone touches a basketball or starts running, they pray together.
Only then does gym class begin.
There’s a warm-up. An individual fitness challenge. An activity. A game. And Tom is watching more than who runs the fastest or scores the most points.
“I’m watching how they engage. Do they follow directions? Do they follow the rules? How do they treat each other? Do they show sportsmanship?”

At the end, they cool down and reflect.
Because for Tom, Physical Education isn’t simply about teaching boys how to play a game.
It’s an opportunity to teach them how to take care of themselves, how to treat others, how to handle challenges, and how to become the young men they are capable of becoming.

The game is part of the lesson.

But it was never the whole lesson.
